The project was executed in Moravia and Silesia region between October 2002 and December 2004 through the European initiative EQUAL, which is a part of the employment policy of the EU and the goal of which is to increase and improve the employment. Financing of the project is from the funds of Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and from the Phare fund.
The project is aimed to develop such conditions, which will enable and prepare one through innovative instruments to begin entrepreneurship, which would support the small and medium entrepreneurs (SME) development through the increase of the successful existence of beginning entrepreneurs.

Project objectives

  • Activation of entrepreneurs' potential within the discriminated groups on the labour market
  • Strengthening the selfemployment process
  • Strengthening of new SME creation process
  • Development of business consulting methods
  • Reduction of the risk connected with the beginning of the entrepreneurial activity
  • Creation of the network of implementation centres
  • Improvement of the relevant information access for the discriminated groups
  • Contribution to ensuring the equality on the labour market

Beneficiaries


People interested in beginning the entrepreneurship from the discriminated groups:

  • Age to 30 years, especially the graduates
  • Unemployed, age over 45
  • People endangered by the loss of their job
  • People returning to the labour market after a longer period of economical inactivity, especially women after maternity leave
  • People with the lower possibility of commuting to work from the distant areas or from the mountainous villages
  • Disabled people

Beginning entrepreneurs:

  • Entrepreneurs active for a time shorter than one year

The representatives of the beneficiaries will be directly participating in the project creation.

Project realization
Development partnership
Project is being realised in cooperation with a group of partners - so called development partnership created by 10 private advisory and educational subjects oriented on small and medium sized enterprises, educational institutions, labour offices, nonprofit advisory association, common profit organisation, regional development agencies.

  • Personal- HR agency Třinec (Kvalifikační a personální agentura, o.p.s.)
  • Regional consulting and information center Ltd, Opava (Regionální poradenské a informační centrum, spol. s r.o.)
  • Training center TEMPO, Ostrava (TEMPO - školící středisko s.r.o.)

The above mentioned partnership is a member of transnational partnership, its other members are from the following EU countries: France, Italy and Portugal.

 

Activities and project results

  • Creation and development of new motivation methods adapted to the needs of individual beneficiary groups
  • Development of new motivation and educational (training) methods "Virtual Company" for the beginning entrepreneurs
  • The use of communication technologies (internet) as a way for informing, interactive communication and operational councelling (business chat)
  • Development of new assisted councelling methods
  • Creation of the network of Start Business Centres network for dissemination and implementation of the project's results
  • Creation of the network of trained mentors - advisors for the beginning entrepreneurs
  • Creation of the entrepreneurial possibilities in the region
  • Enforcement of the principles of equal rights on labour market

The project results are aimed to be a significant contribution for the SME policy creation and employment policy creation with the impact on the self-employment of the beneficiary groups registered in the Labour Office.
